As of March 16th, the prison has not allowed Eddie Africa a phone call even as an emergency call. He is currently under AC Status and is normally allowed one phone call a week and he hasn't even been allow that.
We need you to call SCI Camp Hill ask for the office of the Deputy of Operations ask to speak with a Mr. Petruccio. Put pressure on him to grant the emergency phone call as well as the allotted weekly call. Then ask him why Eddie is being denied both kinds of calls. We would also ask that you call/fax the Governor's office and the office of Commissioner Horn. If the big bosses are bothered maybe they will make sure Eddie gets his calls. If you are out of the country e-mail them.
Eddie's sister Merle died March 13th while imprisoned at SCI Cambridge Springs, under suspicious circumstances and as of this date he has not been allowed to call home. Rather than grant him the call the Prison went and told him about Merle's death and then denied him his phone calls.. This is very cruel treatment for an innocent man.
