On April 2, Assistant District Attorney Hugh Burns filed a motion with Judge William H. Yohn asking him to reconsider his order of March 22 refusing Mumia's petition to add a 30th claim to his habeas corpus petition. In denying Mumia's motion, Yohn said that he considered the issue of whether John Africa could sit at the defense table to be included in Claim 11 of the habeas petition. Burns asks that the court not consider the issue of John Africa at all.
