FIRST JUDICIAL DISTRICT OF PENNSYLVANIA
TRIAL DIVISION - CRIMINAL SECTION

COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA JANUARY TERM, 1982
V.
WESLEY COOK A.K.A. MUMIA ABU-JAMAL NO. 1357

SABO, J.

AND NOW, TO WIT, this 7th day of August, 1995, it is hereby ORDERED and DECREED that the Petitioner's MOTION TO STAY HIS EXECUTION scheduled for August 17, 1995, is hereby GRANTED.
While this Court's ORDER is not an expression of an opinion on the merits of Defendant's motion for Post Conviction Relief, the law dictates that this Court grant the Defendant ample time to have these proceedings reviewed by the highest court of this Commonwealth and the highest Court of the United States. Therefore, since further appellate review is certain, the necessity of this ORDER is obvious.
